In conjunction with the City of Yelm – Government ‘s Park Advisory Board, the Yelm Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2021 Yelm Christmas in the Park Marshalls of Merriment, Tad and Debbie Stillwell!
Tad and Debbie were selected based on their service to the community. Debbie began her career at Yelm Community Schools in 2004, as a substitute while her kids were in the school system and is now Secretary to Superintendent Brian Wharton, and with a military career that spans 15 years, running Tad Stillwell Agency – Farmers Insurance Group for 35 years, and serving on Yelm City Council for 5 years, Tad and Debbie have lived lives of exemplary leadership and service.
Tad and Debbie moved to Yelm in June of 1997 with their three kids, who all went through the Yelm school district and graduated from Yelm High School, in search of a quieter, simpler way of life and a great place to raise their family, which now also includes spouses and grandchildren.
“Debbie and I are humbled to be recognized by this community,” Tad stated, “So many people do so many great things and it’s an honor.”
Join Tad and Debbie Stillwell, the 2021 Marshalls of Merriment, on Friday, December 3rd, as they flip the switch and turn the lights on at Yelm City Park.
